BNNRC organized Training of Trainers on TFGBV prevention
The Bangladesh NGOs Network for Radio and Communication (BNNRC) organized a three-day Training of Trainers on the prevention, mitigation, and response to Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV) and promoting Digital Development on Thursday, 27 November 2025.

Training of Trainers on Social Audit and Implementation of Field Level Activities
CPD organized a two-day Training of Trainers (ToT) on Social Audit & Implementation of Field-Level Activities. The training brought together Field Coordinators (FCs), Community Volunteers (CVs), and IP Focal Points from Sunamganj, Bogura, Noakhali, and Sherpur districts. Objectives included knowledge on Nagorikata, social audit & civic engagement, capacity in social audit, M&E & finance, skills in leadership, facilitation & reporting, and practice of safeguarding & code of conduct.

Two-day Training on Social Accountability (Social Audit and Public Hearing)
This comprehensive two-day training program focused on strengthening social accountability mechanisms through social audit and public hearing processes. The training brought together passionate representatives from MJF's extensive partner network, including organizations such as Nakshikantha, UMUS, Udayan Bangladesh, NSUS, Abalamban, USSB, DPUK, SEED, SDA, SUVO, CBDP, Suktara Mahila Samiti, and WE CAN. Network members from YouthNet Global, Bangladesh Indigenous Women Network (BIWN), National Council for Disabled Women (NCDW), Avijan, and the Governance Advocacy Forum (GAF) also actively participated. Over the course of two days, participants engaged in interactive discussions, group activities, and reflective exercises exploring important themes of social accountability, social audit, and public hearing while sharing valuable insights and experiences.

Project Orientation Meeting
The Nagorikata orientation meeting were successfully organised in four program districts: Bogura, Sunamganj, Sherpur, and Noakhali. The event brought together over 350 people including 320 Citizen Group (CG) members, 16 Community Volunteers (CVs), 4 Field Coordinators, IP officials, and CPD representatives across the 4 districts. Objectives were to build trust and shared ownership, clearly introduce the programme's goals, enhance understanding of improving local public services, and promote participatory, community-driven governance.

Seminar on Gender Charter of Commitment at Khulna University
The seminar featured a presentation on the Gender Charter, followed by a panel discussion with experts Dr. Gitiara Nasreen, Professor, Mass Communication & Journalism Department, University of Dhaka & Lead of the Gender Charter Working Group, and Sheepa Hafiza, equality & human rights activist and social scientist. The session was moderated by Hasibur Rahman, Executive Director of MRDI, with additional insights from Sara Monami Hossain, Head of the Mass Communication and Journalism Discipline of the university.

International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples 2025
Discussion meeting and cultural programme on the theme 'The Role of Modern Technology in Protecting the Rights of Indigenous Women and Shaping Their Future.' The event was presided over by Lalsa Chakma, Vice President of the Bangladesh Indigenous Women's Network. Cultural performances were presented by the indigenous women's music band F Minor, the cultural team of Jahangirnagar University Arfi, and cultural groups representing the Tripura, Oraon, Bom, Khasi, and Garo communities.

Interactive awareness sessions conducted with high school students focusing on gender equality and climate justice issues, empowering young voices in civic engagement.

Journalists' Training on Public Interest Reporting
MRDI organized a three-day training for 12 district-level journalists from national news outlets. The training aimed to strengthen their skills in quality/in-depth/investigative journalism, equips them with modern tools & techniques that can amplify the voices of vulnerable communities to hold the authorities accountable. After the training each participant was awarded with a two-month mentorship support to produce stories on critical public interest issues highlighting systemic gaps and responsibilities of authorities ensuring that no one is left behind.
