Seminar on Gender Charter of Commitment at Khulna University

The seminar featured a comprehensive presentation on the Gender Charter, followed by an engaging panel discussion with distinguished experts Dr. Gitiara Nasreen, Professor, Mass Communication & Journalism Department, University of Dhaka & Lead of the Gender Charter Working Group, and Sheepa Hafiza, equality & human rights activist and social scientist, also member of the working group. The experts discussed strategies to push for more gender-sensitive journalism and the applicability of this Charter to facilitate equity and justice in the journalism industry. The session was expertly moderated by Hasibur Rahman, Executive Director of MRDI, with additional insights from Sara Monami Hossain, Head of the Mass Communication and Journalism Discipline of the university.
