In Dacope, the delegation visited DALIT’s “Together for Tomorrow” initiative, where youth groups, Union Parishad representatives, and community members are working collaboratively to promote participatory local governance. The engagement highlighted how structured dialogue and joint planning are enabling communities—particularly women and Dalit groups—to raise their voices and contribute to local decision-making processes.
In Khulna, the delegation visited BLAST’s PROKAS Project, including the BLAST Unit Office at Khulna Judge Court. Interactions with legal service providers, Unit Management Committee members, community-based organisations, and project clients demonstrated how community-based legal services are expanding access to justice for marginalized populations.
The visit underscored the importance of integrated approaches—combining legal aid, community mobilisation, and institutional collaboration—to address barriers faced by women, Dalits, and other vulnerable groups, while strengthening accountability within local governance systems.
